Hi, I’m karlee hinckley.
I live in Castle Rock, Colorado with my husband Dylan, dog Ava, and son Owen. Living in Colorado, we love to spend as much time outside as possible and in the summer we’re always trying to check out new hiking trails. After welcoming Owen into our family, I made the decision move to full time with Better Days Accounting so I am able to enjoy a better work - life balance.
Before the switch, I worked as a Financial Analyst for the Town of Castle Rock working with the Transportation, Fire and Parks department on things like their yearly budgets and monthly financials. I’m super excited to switch gears to work at Better Days Accounting full time!

I’m a licensed CPA with a passion for helping businesses thrive. Over the years, I’ve built my career working across public accounting, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities entrepreneurs face.
I live in beautiful San Diego with my husband, our daughter, and our two lively dogs. When I’m not crunching numbers or supporting clients, you’ll usually find me soaking up the sun at the beach or unwinding with a great book.
I’m also deeply committed to giving back to my community and have spent years serving in various volunteer leadership roles — a value that continues to shape how I approach my work and relationships today.
